COVID-19 has impacted the lives of many individuals and businesses. One of those groups is performing artists who can't perform live in the current environment.

We have developed a massively scalable streaming solution (for millions of concurrent viewers), allowing artists to stream and monetize their performances easily. The artist or promoter can integrate the video player into a website or a mobile app with just a few lines of code. The video player operates in "live" mode - i.e., the fans are not able to "fast-forward" the stream but can pause and then "catch-up" with the broadcast. Lastly, we implemented a range of sophisticated DRM measures protecting the IP of the artist.

The first customer of this solution has transformed live entertainment through the power of interactive streaming. They have delivered live stream performances from the most iconic names in music.

In 2021 they plan to stream artists of an even higher caliber - Bruno Mars, Usher, Ariana Grande, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and more.

The client built a highly complex software application consisting of multiple modules and a data model with multiple dependencies but with no front-end. 

The objective of the design/advisory process was to design a front-end for the application that would meet several criteria:

  • Easy to navigate and use GUI
  • "Installable" application - on user's device but with just one codebase for both desktop and web versions - similar to Slack, Twitch, or WhatsApp
  • The front-end purpose is to let users prepare a dataset/model, launch a computationally intensive task on the cloud (choosing either AWS, Google Cloud, or MS Azure), receive and visualize the results.

The resulting front-end is a react.js application leveraging Electron for the cross-platform functionality.

A global Energy company has a workflow in place which is manual, labor-intensive, and not scalable beyond a limited number of highly specialized experts. It involves manually exporting data from a PC, transferring it to an on-premises Linux cluster, setting up and running a data processing job, and then transferring the resulting dataset back to the PC.

We designed a fully automated and scalable, cloud solution to replace this manual workflow. The user activates the job on the PC; the system then exports and transfers relevant data to the cloud, assigns resources required to process the data, runs the job, and imports the data back into the PC application.

The solution does not require any special skills and is scalable to a theoretically unlimited number of users or processed jobs.

Parabo PRESS created a unique and modern line of photo prints. Their Photo Books, Calendars, Prints, and more are thoughtfully-designed and printed with forest-friendly materials.

We developed our PDF template engine to produces various kinds of prints and a powerful editor in react.js technologies that deliver the blazing-fast user experience.

The backend and API are powered by containers running on Amazon ECS and SQS. Parabo is connected to courier APIs, providing customer notifications from order placement to order delivery.

6X is a multi-component numerical reservoir simulator. It is a C/C++ Linux based application with a license server. The user has to manage deployment, infrastructure, installation, and licensing.

We developed Discover 6X. It leverages cloud-based, Linux GPU instances for maximum performance, it is massively scalable, only depending on the availability of cloud infrastructure.

Discover 6X runs from any device with a web browser; there is no hardware or software to install and no runs or resources to manage.

To plan, promote, and run events, motor racing venues have to use several tools, neither of which fully meets their needs.

Running just one event at one venue can require the use of ten or more different, disconnected web or mobile services with lots of duplication.

We developed Tracktivity, a unique mobile technology service for motor racing venues. Tracktivity ingests data from the various sources, integrates and contextualizes the data, and uses it as input for various value-added services delivered through the platform; promotional campaigns, ticketing, communication, etc.

Tracktivity provides the services through a family of web and mobile apps.
